Guide to my travel planning process, service and fees
How the process works
We start with a free 15-minute phone chat, so I can learn about you, your travel style and wishes. We discuss timings and trip budget. If you want go ahead, we formalise a contract and brief for your sign-off.
I research destinations and travel partners and create a first proposal that we discuss and finesse.
Once you’re happy, I book hotels, flights, drivers, tours, classes, and restaurants if required. This forms the basis of a day-by-day itinerary and can be as tight or loose as you like.
What I do as your Spain travel consultant
I am here to inspire, inform and design all aspects of your vacation. My area of expertise is Europe, with an emphasis on my adopted home country Spain.
I save you hours of internet research, figure out logistics and share advice and intel to make sure you get what you had in mind and more.
Whether you’re a solo traveler, couple, family or group, I make sure each detail is tailored to suit individual needs and likes.
I’m a Fora Travel affiliate – what does that mean for you?
Fora is a licensed US host agency that supports independent travel consultants like me.
As an affiliate, I have access to VIP client perks at 1000s of Fora’s partner hotels. These often include early check-in/late checkout, hotel credits, and upgrades.
When I book your hotels (or apartments/villas) through Fora, I can communicate your requirements and advocate on your behalf if something goes wrong.
My bookings are secured via Fora Travel’s payment system.
My planning fees
I charge a planning fee to cover the cost of my time spent on research, hand-picking the accommodation and activities, itinerary creation and adjustments, reservations and being on hand during your trip via WhatsApp (like a concierge).
Fees are based on the scope and complexity of the trip and payable before I start the planning process. They are invoiced via Fora’s secure payment system.
Fora partner hotels may pay me a small commission if we book on your behalf, which does not affect your rate.
