Born in N. Ireland, I lived in London, Toulouse, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Berlin and Shanghai, before moving to Valencia, Spain in 2021.

I’ve been a journalist most of my professional life for international media outlets. I love mega-cities, remote places and going beyond the obvious tourist to-dos. An obsession with food — from street stands to fine dining — shapes my travels.

I’ve explored 60+ countries from North and South America to Japan, China, South Asia and parts of the Middle East and Africa.
